A fly

This is about a patient who had a tracheostomy. While he was still undergoing post-operative care in hospital, his wound was being cleaned and dressed, when the ENT specialist warned that there was a fly in the ward. Unfortunately, before anything could be done, the fly entered the opening and within a few minutes the patient was gasping for breath. Nothing could be done and he died shortly after.

Weird ways to die

Sridhar is a doctor and he keeps telling me stories of deaths he hears about. Despite the tragedy, I find myself wondering sometimes at the form death takes. I felt I had to record these anecdotes somewhere, hence this blog.
I should think this blog will have even less visitors than my original one!
